Desire tells you where to go, your ‘shoulds’ tell you how to. But they both blind you to what’s around. The price of your plans are in missing that birdsong, that wildflower, the touch of wind on your skin, the sunset hitting the cloud. And it is seldom worth it.


Regular effortless work is manageable, regular hard-work is hard to pull off and consistency compounds. Taking on heavy challenges back to back wears you down and creates distaste. Going from ease to ease with progressive increments in challenges allows healthier growth and is enjoyable.

And he saw that only through total acceptance could he retain what he loved in himself. And that acceptance, itself, would show the way to change. A change that was not revolutionary but evolutionary, responding to the Present. A change that didnot come from degrading the past or the self but by acknowledging the work done until that point.
