A Miracle

Just because the brain carries the executive function we get a sense of us controlling our body. Yet, at the same time, the body is made of trillions of cells that are a life-form on their own. While we respect other animals, reptilians, insects and even micro-organisms, with the awe, wonder and joy of nature's creation, we often don't do the same for our own being.

Do we treat a jelly fish poorly coz it doesn't have a brain? What if we viewed our body as a collection of beings that constantly tried to do the best for our well-being? How would we treat it then?
